Tuition

 

All monthly rates are based on the amount of hours taken for the entire month with some months being longer or shorter depending on the particular month. It is all balanced out throughout the year, so payment is based on a 4 week month regardless of the calendar.

Monthly Payment Prices (for hours taken per week for the entire month):

$97.50 per 1 1/2 hours

After 5 hours of study there is a 5% discount taken

There is an Unlimited monthly dance card available for the serious dancer for a special grand re-opening price of $450 which includes any and all of the classes at FUNKtion.

 

OPEN/DROP IN classes are: 

$15.00 per hour class, and 

$17.00 per hour-and-a-half class.

 

You may purchase a 10 class dance card at a discounted rate of $150.00 or $125.00 for college students.

There are NO Costume fees and NO extra Studio costs or Pricey Recital ticket costs included or hidden in tuition. In order to keep our prices low and fair we ask that you please respect our policy and have payments in at a timely manner.

 

Fees payable to The FUNKtion Dance Complex are due by the first of each month and is considered late after the 5th. There will be a $15 late fee issued after the 5th with NO Exceptions. If payment is late more than two times, a credit card will need to be on file for an automatic withdrawal. (we appreciate your understanding and cooperation on this matter).

 

There is an annual registration fee of $25 for all students and for $40 for families (this does not include open enrollment programs).

 

Payments are based on monthly or Bi-monthly payments. Yearly payments are accepted for an additional 10% discount.  All monthly tuition is based on a yearly dance calendar and weeks will not be pro-rated. We currently accept Cash, Check or Credit Card.

 

An automatic withdrawal can be set up for your account for your convenience and is MANDATORY for anyone who is late more than 2 times.

 

There will be a service charge of $25 for any returned checks.

 

Open Enrollment classes are for mature dancers and adults. Payment is per class or a purchased dance card at a discounted rate may be used. 

 

Conventions or Master Classes are at an additional cost, but are not mandatory and are up to each individual student.

 

Dance Crews however are required to attend conventions throughout the year to help further their dance education and learn from some of the top professionals working today. The Jr. Crew will be asked to participate in Monsters of Hip Hop, and The Beat Club Crew will be asked to commit to 1 Pulse and 1 Monsters of Hip Hop Convention. The Contemporary Performance group will participate in the ASH Convention but may also go to any of the others above. Any additional conventions will be up to the parents and individual student.

 

There are no deductions, refunds, or credits for missed classes regardless of reason or for weather, or reasons out of our control. We will allow excused absences to be made up by the the student in any appropriate age and level class during the course of the dance year.
